Overview
Quiet support over occupied space.
A lined split clamp wraps the pipe in two mild-steel halves with an EPDM rubber insert between metal and pipe. The lining separates dissimilar materials, damps structure-borne vibration, and stops the metal-on-metal contact that telegraphs pump and flow noise into occupied floors - which is why acoustic consultants call for lined clamps above bedrooms, wards, and offices.
The split design opens on a side screw so the clamp can be installed before or after the pipe is in place, then closes onto the hanger rod boss. Combined Cooperation supplies the TEMBO TGNC0L series in Kuwait with UL listed options and the standard finish range for concealed and exposed services.
EPDM is rated for continuous service from -20 C to +110 C, covering chilled water, hot water, and condenser applications common in Kuwait's mechanical packages.

01Is the EPDM lining suitable for both chilled and hot water lines?
Yes. The moulded EPDM insert is rated for continuous service from -20 °C to +110 °C, which covers chilled water, domestic hot water, and condenser piping.
02How do I select the clamp size for PPR, PEX, or copper pipe?
Select on the pipe's actual outside diameter against the clamping range rather than on the nominal size. The table runs from a 20–25 mm clamping range (DN15) to 87–92 mm (DN80); plastic and copper pipes have different outside diameters from steel of the same nominal size, so check the OD before ordering.
03Can the lined clamp go on after the pipe is already in position?
Yes. The two halves open on an M6 side screw, so the clamp can be fitted around a pipe that is already installed and then closed onto the M10 hanger rod boss.
04Where are lined clamps specified instead of plain pipe rings?
Above bedrooms, wards, and offices, where acoustic consultants want the metal-on-metal path broken — the lining cuts transmitted noise by up to 18 dB. They are also used in pump rooms, on domestic water risers, and on PPR, PEX, and copper services whose surface needs protecting from the steel.
