Long hot or cold runs: roller supports
Chilled-water headers, LTHW, steam and condensate lines expand along their axis. Roller stands, roller chairs and adjustable roller hangers (MSS SP-58 Types 41–45, DN50–750, 343 °C) let the pipe travel instead of dragging on a fixed hanger.
Several services on one drop: strut trapeze
41×21 and 41×41 channel in 1.5–2.5 mm, plain or slotted, with channel nuts, brackets and cantilever arms frames trapeze supports and multi-service racks without site welding. Span and load checks run against the published section properties.
Rod grades and finishes for your schedule

The clevis hanger (TGCH00) and the sprinkler hangers (TGSHN0 with nut, TGSH00 without) have UL listed and FM approved variants, supplied electro-galvanized; the EPDM-lined split clamp has UL listed options. Specify the listed variant on sprinkler scopes reviewed against NFPA 13, and the listing certificate is supplied with the submittal.
03What does MSS SP-58 mean on a pipe hanger?
ANSI/MSS SP-58 is the design and manufacturing standard for pipe hangers and supports; it assigns a type number to each pattern — a clevis hanger is Type 1, a sprinkler hanger Type 10, beam clamps Types 19 and 23, rollers Types 41 to 45 — and since 2009 it also carries the selection and application content previously issued as MSS SP-69. Manufacturers conform to it; there is no third-party SP-58 certificate, so the independent marks to look for on fire scopes are UL listing and FM approval.

05Which hanger should I use for chilled water pipe over occupied rooms?
Up to DN80, an EPDM-lined split clamp: the moulded lining is rated −20 to +110 °C, cuts structure-borne noise by up to 18 dB and keeps the pipe off bare steel. Above DN80, use a clevis hanger and take the acoustic break at the equipment with spring or rubber hangers from the vibration isolator range.
06Which finish should I specify for a Kuwait project?
Electro-galvanized inside dry plant rooms and ceiling voids; hot-dip galvanized for rooftops, car parks and external racks away from immediate coastal carry-over; stainless steel SS 316 for direct coastal exposure or chloride attack. Zinc flake and epoxy-coated finishes are available where the specification names them.
07Do you supply riser clamps, seismic bracing and trapeze channel as well?
Yes. Riser clamps and split rings for vertical pipework, sway braces and restraints for sprinkler mains, and 41×21 and 41×41 strut channel with channel nuts, brackets and cantilever arms for trapeze and multi-service racks are all part of the same range, so one submittal covers the drop from structure to pipe.
