Overview
Built for long suspended runs.
A clevis hanger carries the pipe in a shaped mild-steel strap suspended from a yoke and cross bolt, so the piping can be levelled from the hanger rod after installation. The lower nut sets the elevation and the locked upper nut keeps the assembly from loosening under vibration, which is why consultants specify this type for long suspended runs of chilled water, domestic water, and sprinkler piping.
Combined Cooperation stocks the TEMBO TGCH00 series in Kuwait across the full range from DN15 (1/2") to DN750 (30"). The electro-galvanized UL listed and FM approved variants cover fire protection packages reviewed against NFPA 13, while plain, hot-dip galvanized, zinc flake, and epoxy coated finishes handle plumbing, HVAC, and exposed or coastal installations.
The 15-degree swing tolerance in either direction lets pipe feed through during erection without pinching, and the aligned bolt holes speed up overhead installation on site.

01Which MSS SP-58 type is the TGCH00 clevis, and which variant belongs on a sprinkler main?
The TGCH00 is manufactured to MSS SP-58 Type 1 and to Federal Specification WW-H-171E & A-A-1192A Type 1. For fire protection scopes reviewed against NFPA 13, specify the UL listed / FM approved variant, which is supplied electro-galvanized. The plain, hot-dip galvanized, zinc flake, and epoxy coated versions cover plumbing and HVAC runs where a listing is not called for.
02What hanger rod does each clevis size take?
From the selected sizes: DN15 to DN50 hang on M10 rod, DN80 to DN200 on M12, DN300 on M16, and DN600 on M30. Across the full DN15 to DN750 range the rod runs from M10 to M30 — for intermediate sizes, ask for the dimensional drawing of the specified item.
03How is pipe elevation set once the clevis is hung?
The lower nut on the hanger rod sets the elevation, so the run can be levelled after installation, and the locked upper nut stops the assembly working loose under vibration. The hanger also swings up to 15 degrees either side, which lets pipe feed through during erection without pinching.
04Which clevis finish suits an exposed or coastal installation?
Hot-dip galvanized, zinc flake, or epoxy coated are the finishes offered for exposed and coastal runs; plain and electro-galvanized suit concealed services. Because the UL/FM listed variants come electro-galvanized, confirm with the consultant whether the listing or the heavier finish governs on an external fire protection run.
