Overview
Let hot and cold lines move.
When a long pipe run heats and cools, it has to move. Roller supports carry the pipe weight on a cast or malleable iron roller so the line travels freely along its axis, protecting both the pipe and the supporting steel from wear and induced stress. Selection between the patterns depends on where the load path sits: a roller stand (TGPRS0) sits on structure below the pipe, a roller chair (TGPRC0) bolts to steel where no vertical adjustment is needed, and an adjustable roller hanger (TGARH0) suspends the roller from rod where levelling is required.
All patterns are manufactured to MSS SP-58 Types 41 to 45 with mild-steel frames and iron rollers, in sizes from DN50 (2") to DN750 (30").

01Roller stand, roller chair, or adjustable roller hanger — which pattern fits my support?
It depends on where the load path sits. The roller stand (TGPRS0) seats on structure below the pipe; the roller chair (TGPRC0) bolts to steel where no vertical adjustment is needed; the adjustable roller hanger (TGARH0) suspends the roller from rod where the line has to be levelled. A roller with socket (TGPR00) completes the range.
02Which MSS SP-58 types does the roller range cover?
The range is manufactured to MSS SP-58 Types 41, 43, 44, and 45, with Types 44 and 45 also meeting Federal Specification WW-H-171E & A-A-1192A. Sizes run from DN50 (2") to DN750 (30").
03Are roller supports suitable for steam and condensate lines?
Yes. Cast or malleable iron rollers on mild-steel frames are rated for service up to 343 °C (650 °F), which covers steam, condensate, and LTHW as well as chilled water headers. The roller lets the line travel along its axis as it heats and cools instead of dragging on a fixed support.
04What should accompany an enquiry for pipe rollers?
The pipe sizes, the service and operating temperature, where each support attaches (below, beside, or above the pipe), and the finish — plain, electro-galvanized, hot-dip galvanized, or zinc flake. Supports are selected against the expected expansion movement at submittal stage, and a quotation is returned within 24–48 hours.
