Overview
Stop vibration at the hanger rod.
Anything rotating that hangs from a slab - fan coil units, cabinet fans, inline fans - and the piping and ductwork connected to it will transmit vibration through its hanger rods unless the rod is broken with an isolator. The TEMBO spring hanger (TGSPH0) sets a colour-coded steel spring in series with a moulded elastomeric element inside a welded bracket, isolating both low-frequency vibration and high-frequency noise in one assembly.
Spring hangers are rated from 10 to 1,250 kg at 25 mm deflection with 50% overload capacity, designed to BS 1726 Part 1. For lighter point loads, rubber hangers (TGRH00, 10-120 kg) and duct mounts (TGDM00) give compact elastomeric isolation for pipes, ducts, and brackets without the height of a spring unit.
Combined Cooperation supplies the range in Kuwait for FCU, VRF, VAV, and fan installations, and typically recommends isolating the first few pipe supports leading away from isolated equipment so vibration does not bypass the equipment mounts.
