Overview
Break the path from plant to slab.
Rotating plant transmits vibration into the slab, and the slab carries it into occupied space. Floor-mounted spring isolators break that path: the closed spring mount (TGCSM0) encloses the spring in a housing that adds horizontal stability, while the open spring mount (TGOSM0) exposes the spring for inspection and pairs an integral rubber acoustic element with full height adjustability. Both are colour-coded by load rating, designed to BS 1726 Part 1, and level from an external adjustment without unloading the equipment.
Closed mounts have 25 mm deflection across four frame sizes; open mounts have 25 and 50 mm deflections. Where spring isolation is more than the application needs, ribbed, waffle, cork-sandwich, and metal-sandwich pads (TGAVP0) handle medium and high-frequency attenuation under lighter equipment.

01Closed or open spring mount — what changes on site?
The closed mount (TGCSM0) encloses the spring in a housing that adds horizontal stability. The open mount (TGOSM0) leaves the spring visible for inspection, adds an integral rubber acoustic element, and is fully height-adjustable. Both level from an external adjustment without unloading the equipment.
02Which mount do I need if the specification calls for 50 mm static deflection?
The open spring mount (TGOSM0), which comes in 25 mm and 50 mm deflections. The closed mount is made in 25 mm deflection only, across four frame sizes.
03When are anti-vibration pads enough instead of springs?
Under lighter equipment where spring isolation is more than the duty needs. The TGAVP0 ribbed, waffle, cork-sandwich, and metal-sandwich pads attenuate medium and high-frequency vibration and come in squares from 3" to 18".
04What details are needed to select mounts for a chiller, pump, or AHU?
The equipment schedule with each unit's operating weight and RPM, plus the static deflection the consultant requires. Springs are colour-coded by load rating and selected against those inputs at submittal stage; send the schedule and a selection with pricing follows within 24–48 hours.
