Spring isolators alone cannot steady a machine that generates large unbalanced forces - a belt-driven pump or reciprocating compressor will rock on its springs unless extra mass holds it down. An inertia base solves this: a fully welded steel frame with integral reinforcement fixed 40 mm above the frame bottom is set on spring mounts, filled with concrete on site, and the equipment bolts to the mass. The added weight lowers the assembly's centre of gravity, reduces motion, and improves low-frequency isolation.
TEMBO TGIB00 frames come in standard sizes with 150, 200, 300, and 350 mm depths - never less than one-twelfth of the longest side - with recessed corner brackets designed to accept TEMBO TGOSM open spring mounts. Custom sizes are manufactured to order for heavier or more complex plant, with six or more isolators recommended on exceptionally large bases.
