Aluminium flag poles
A flag pole looks like the simplest item on the list, and it is the one with the most early decisions hidden inside it. The poles we supply are marine-grade aluminium, tapered or straight, in standard heights of 6, 9, and 12 metres with custom heights on request, and finished anodised or powder-coated.
Three decisions shape the order. The first is the mounting— ground, roof, or wall. A ground-mounted pole needs a base prepared in the external works; a roof or wall pole needs its fixing co-ordinated with the structure and the roof or facade finish. None of that can wait until the pole arrives. The second is the height, which is set by the architect’s elevation and the site: a pole at a ministry forecourt and a pole on a warehouse roof are different briefs. The third is the finish. Both anodised and powder-coat are offered; the choice is usually architectural, matched to the facade or the other external metalwork.
Rubber guard rails and corner guards
Wall protection earns its place in any interior where trolleys, beds, carts, or luggage move along corridors. The rails we supply have an impact-absorbing PVC or rubber profile on a continuous aluminium retainer, with matching corner guards for external corners. They are specified for hospitals, hotels, schools, malls, and warehouses — anywhere wall finishes take repeated knocks.
The retainer is fixed to the wall, so the substrate and the finished wall line need to be settled first. The rail and corner guard runs come off the interior elevations, and the fixing height is set by the architect or the operator — a hospital corridor and a hotel service corridor protect against different things. Colour is the other decision: the range comes in multiple colours, so the rail can match the interior scheme or contrast with it.
Entrance matting
Entrance matting protects every floor finish behind the door. A matting system at the door traps grit and moisture before it is walked across polished stone, tiles, or carpet — and in Kuwait, where fine dust is part of the climate, most of it arrives through the front door. The systems we supply are modular, with aluminium frames and a choice of brush, rubber, or carpet inserts.
The key decision is recessed or surface-mounted, and it is a programme decision as much as a product one. A recessed mat sits flush in a well formed in the floor, so its size and depth must be known before the screed and floor finish go down at that entrance. A surface-mounted mat sits on the finished floor and suits refurbishments or entrances where the floor build-up is already fixed. Insert choice follows the traffic and the look: brush for scraping, rubber for heavy-duty wear, carpet where the entrance is also a lobby finish.
A recessed entrance mat is decided at the screed, not at the snag list. Once the floor finish is down, the practical option left is surface-mounted.
